Microsoft Office for Students
Thanks to an agreement between Microsoft and ½ñÈÕ¿´ÁÏ, all students can now sign up for their own version of Office 365 Academic, the cloud-based productivity tools already used by over 110 million students, faculty and staff worldwide. Office 365 lets you access assignments in shared workspaces, synchronize your notes with OneNote, communicate and collaborate on projects with Teams and create with familiar applications like Word, PowerPoint and Excel – anywhere, anytime and across virtually any device.
Overview of Office 365 Academic
- Only available for current students.
- Office 365 is a full version of Office. The programs have the same features and functionality as other versions of Office. For example, Word in Office 365 works the same way it does in Office Standard 2019.
- Office 365 allows users to always have the latest versions of the Office programs.
- Office 365 Academic is not a web-based version of Office. It runs locally on the user’s computer. Users don’t need to be connected to the internet all the time to use it, however, to validate your enrollment you will need to login once a month.
